Been thinking about this as a theme for a while now, but proved to be a bit challenging as I was struggling to find stuff I liked with girls that exemplified a real ‘Punk Rock’ attitude. I know that I will get bombarded with, “why didn’t you use……….?” Well, go on then. We have used the only 2 Slits songs I like in previous shows and is Patti Smith Punk? Hhmmmm! So, what’s here is not strictly punk or all girls for that matter. What drew me to these tunes was attitude, buzzsaw guitars and girls doing it for themselves, no compromise.
