Once again, the world beat a path to their door in search of fresh material to adopt and adapt: big band swingers, cod-flamenco tocaores, Texan psychedelic weirdbeards, west country prog eccentrics, West Yorkshire silk-suited smoothies, Jewish-Italian goth-soul divas,  and Romanian god-knows-whats, all plundered its wares.
