Music has so many purposes and values in our lives: to entertain, to inspire, to cause reflection or distraction, to create joy, to express love.In addition, it can help us as we deal with loss and grief and accompany us as we journey a tortuous emotional path. This edition of the Coast Highway Shuffle Show is very personal as I continue to experience a wide range of emotions on the 5th anniversary of a terrible personal loss.The songs I've selected are those that reflect pain and heartache, grief and longing and expressions of what may lie beyond, but also songs that simply were favorites of my lost loved one. My hope is that these songs, and this show, may touch or inspire you, or simply create reflections upon your own journey thru loss. Ths is for Ethan James and for all those whom we'll miss forever.
